From our first meeting with Susie, we knew we wanted her to be a part of our wedding. She exudes calm and has a genuine interest in other’s lives that goes far beyond mere professional courtesy.  Her process in shaping our ceremony was instrumental in helping us voice our true reasons for marriage and made us reflect on the reasons we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. This path of discovery isn’t forced or contrived with Susie, her relaxed demeanour and approach continues from the first meeting to the end of the ceremony. As atheists, Susie was fantastic in suggesting elements for the ceremony that elevated our wedding beyond mere civil union. The structure and pacing of the ceremony was superb, never rushed or preachy. Her performance in front of our guests was confident but relaxed, all our guests thought she was fantastic, but never stole the limelight.

Planning our ceremony with Susie was fun and straight forward as she guided us through her process. Susie genuinely cared that we had a beautiful and personal ceremony. I’m glad that she encouraged us to make every effort to personalise our ceremony and Vows, instead of taking the easier option of standardised wording. During our ceremony it felt like the attention was completely on us and Susie was just the guide. She’s an excellent warm celebrant.

Susie was THE BEST. Her expertise and wisdom guided us through the planning of our ceremony and Vows. Her calm professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills helped us to combat the pre-wedding nerves and chaos. On the day Susie warmly welcomed our guests and then led us all through the beautiful ceremony she had crafted. Susie was genuine, loving and very authentic in her role and all our guests commented on what a beautiful job she did. She even assisted the groom to arrange a band of local musicians to play a surprise song, on the beach, at the end of the formalities.

Susie was absolutely amazing!!! From the moment we met her we cancelled speaking to others because we knew there was no one else like her! She gave us so much advice and help all the way through, Skype, emails, face to face …anything we wanted she made us feel like it was easy to work in to our ceremony. On the day, we just couldn’t have imagined it any other way. Susie was friendly and funny, yet professional and really followed every detail we discussed. Susie is AMAZING! From the initial briefing call, to all the preparation and on the day, Susie was incredibly kind, caring, professional and knowledgeable. She didn’t just give us a templated ceremony, she customised it to fit our personality, and also gave us a heap of tips to make the ceremony perfect that we simply wouldn’t have thought about otherwise. We had plenty of positive comments from family and friends about her on the day too. I cannot recommend her enough.
